I noticed Ford has a recall on there co developed 10 speed transmission
It involves thousands of trucks.
Is there an issue with the 10 speed and that’s why GM hasn’t rolled it out as fast as Ford did?
Food for thought ?
Also I noticed GM has made it on the national news with the growing no. of unhappy 8 speed transmission owners. Lots of people wanting buy backs after multiple trips to the dealer and still not being fixed.

So my question is.. Why would a company want there reputation dragged through the mud by letting this problem go on for so long?
What does Mary do there? Anything ?
Be nice if she opened her eyes long enough to help these people out that spent money supporting the company she is supposed to be in charge of.....

Or is it all about profit and fk the customers.
Does she realize there will be no profit without the customers?

Maybe it’s because there sales are doing ok so why bother fixing an issue that will eat into the profit margins....

I don’t have a GM with an 8 speed but I do get really pisssed off when a company takes advantage of its customers.

Its easy to see why Toyota is a much more respected company.....

Your thoughts !!!

When I traded my Colorado I moved into a F150 with the 6 speed. I did drive a 10 speed and it seemed fine, but I decided to steer clear. I hear but have not confirmed that Ford is sourcing a new 9 or 10 speed from Aisin. no clue what GM plans on doing.

Years ago I had a company AstroVan with the 4.3 and I believe it was a 5 speed auto. With lockup torque converter. I beat the living crap out of that van. Burn outs, brake stands. Extremely over loaded with cinder blocks. Even towed a 30 foot travel trailer. You couldn’t kill that motor and transmission.
Back then GM had the best transmissions in the industry. we had some Rangers back then and Fords rubber band transmissions were the absolute worst. You were lucky to get 50k out of one.
I have seen some GM 10 speed issues too. So it seems even GM and Ford combined can’t build an automatic....
