I noticed longer mileage between regens after I got a GDE tune, plus a few extra MPG as well not to mention the drivability improvements.

Yeah the shot trips will do that. You need to take it on a long trip to clean it out. My city mileage is not that great either. I use Power Service cetane booster in the fuel and I also have an s&b air intake and that gave the engine more pep. For your regen problem I would recommend using Archoil fuel additive. It cleans the entire fuel system from the turbo to the egr and the particulate filter.Great truck I am around 12K miles. I have had some weird minor things that i cannot thing of at the top of my head. but all dealers fixed easy peasy My biggest complaint is the Regen Mode it happen to me 2-4 times a week. I believe because I do a lot of short local driving all city. I live in Los Angeles. Anyway is devastates my MPG's literal drop of 15-25MPG
I just logged in many years later to see this reply...I will try it. haha i am out of warranty and my extra thing I bought, external warranty and paid off ... It would be the best truck without all this emissions crap on it but that's government regulations for you.
