So after having to back up and hitch to the trailer in the middle of the night and not being able to see ****, I've decided to LED the entire back end of the truck with the brightest bulbs from the guys at Diode Dynamics. I also went ahead and grabbed the LED fog lights...20% off why not. So I will effectively have all LEDs on the outside other than the headlights.

I have their switchbacks LEDs and they are very high quality. If anyone has been on the fence about doing those or any other LEDs, now is the time.

They have pictures on their site and customer pictures as well.

So I got everything today and installed all bulbs I ordered.

Huge improvement, especially the fog lights. They out preform the low beams greatly. Never had to use high beams once tonight.

Backing up in the dark is easier, brake lights are pretty bright as well. Cargo lights, you can actually see all of the bed of the truck.

Considering going LED on the headlights now. Even for the projectors. I think supernovas have the best chance of working with them pretty good

Supernovas will work with dust covers. They are designed to be installed in tight places. Instead of a fan, they use a braided flexable heat sink. They are also the only LEDs designed to mimic the beam pattern of halogen bulbs as far as I know.
