Sorry but those round air vents and the shape of that dash looks like something ford would build
This is so cheap looking
such a major disappointment

Yup I agree, I'm not a fan of it either. The more I look at it the more I think they're trying to slowly get us used to the EV dash set up, which sucks in my book.

The dash reminds me of the front of the new little pickup Ford came out with.
The Maverick
The Maverick front end is awful looking.

why can’t GM make the dash look like the Silverado dash. That is very nice looking.
its like they wanted to down grade the look of the interior.
NO ROUND VENTS HERE,!!

Have you seen the interior on the new Blazer EV
gorgeous looking…
If there is one thing that is a major turnoff of Tesla vehicles, it’s that crappy dash design with one big display in the middle of the dash.
This is what an EV should look like.
notice there is multiple displays. Not one big flat display spread across the dash.

I like the layout (excluding the color choice) but I really dislike the round vents.

The Blazer EV dash is nice but I too think the round vents are out of place. They are strangely retro in an otherwise modern and nice looking layout in the Blazer EV. Silverado dash for the win. I much prefer my '17 Canyon's dash to the "updated" '23 Twins dash if that is what it is going to look like. With just a few small changes, I like the current dash fine. I would relocate the 4x4 knob, get rid of the plastic "divider" in the speedometer/tachometer display. If I can dream, the display would be a configurable TFT ;)

On the bright side, GM is not going with a rotary shift knob, so there is that!

It’s like they ran out of money or time to get the truck ready for unveiling.
I also think the current dash is better looking than this so called upgrade ….
I don’t think the round vents look bad in the Blazer. They seem to fit in considering how the dash designed.

“Yes, reminds me of the old Ford Galaxie 500.”

When I was a kid we had a 65 Galaxie 500. As soon as I saw those vents it took me right back to that.

Is the 4wd/transfer case knob still down where you can accidentally change it with your knee?

Looks like they moved the shifter handle to the right and planted the 4WD selector just to the left of it. I'm not a fan of the cup holder new location and being side by side will probably be a problem for some drink cup sizes.

I really don't care for the round vents at all. 🤮

I might be part of the minority, but I really like the new interior of the twins. However, I don't like the tablet look for the center console that a lot of auto manufacturers are doing
That's their way of breaking us in for the crappy look of the EV dash setups.

The smaller shift lever is tidier, and it looks like the 4x4 control is by it as well - a nice silver lining. The 2.7 turbo 4 is the real reason to be interested in the '23s.

It looks like the climate controls are still knobs, which is good. I hate it when climate controls are integrated into the screen, as I prefer keeping my eyes on the road and just twisting a knob when I want more fan speed.

Ford and GM aggressively protect sales of the full size by intentionally making small and midsize trucks cheap and somewhat off-putting. They make much larger margins on the full size trucks.

I actually managef to see these trucks in real life. 2 of them, a Colorado ZR2, and a GMC Denali. The interiors are very different, the Colorado had goofy round vents but the the GMC's have nice vents just like the full size. Both nice interiors, but the GMC is a lot nicer. When I went inside the dealer to ask for a test drive , I was told the trucks were for dealer to get a look and and drive but not available for general public test drives yet. He was nice enough to let me and buddy sit in them and pop the hood.
No Diesel option....whaaaat. Although the 2.7 turbo is way up in torque and horsepower over the V6 and Diesel.
The GMC was lifted as high as the ZR2, and taller than the 2atnd gen ZR2. And apparently come that way from factory.
One other big disappointment was the lack of long box option. I guess too many people were buying the crew cab with the wimpy box ?
Salesman said we should see these on the lots in 3-4 months.
Kind of glad I didn't get to drive one, after seeing the GMC factory lift and amazing interior and tech, if the engine performs as well as they said, it is going to be hard not to get one.

Ya, not many buyers went for the CCLB configuration. Interesting thing is, the CCLB config seems to be highly sought after now in the used market. I love the CCLB setup, except when I have to occasionally parallel park in the city

I also prefer the CCLB - except when parallel parking. I could do without the CC but no LB is no go. If I did anything today (I won't) it would be an LB Ranger with the rear seat delete.
I don't have any issue with the new interior but prefer the older and seemingly lower Chevy hood.

I'm not one to care about the shape of vents, but moving the 4WD selector is a really good idea. My biggest complaint with my 2016 Colorado CCLB Duramax is the drivers' seat. The lower bolster puts pressure on the backs of my thighs, painful because of my medical issues with blood clots. If the seat had more adjustability like my previous F150 it would be a non-issue. That reason alone may eventually force me to trade the Chevy for something with a better seat. I sat in a Ram that seemed more comfortable but getting an eco-diesel version with CC and LB may be unicorn-hunting.
