I recall seeing another member with a wiring issue which turned out to be a ground wire wasn't properly tighten down.
We seem to be having similar quality issues with our first GM vehicle. I just posted on this blog, under 'Mechanical'. We bought a 2016 Canyon Diesel, in September 2016, and the vehicle has been in and out of the shop over 22 days - and counting. This time is divided up among 3 separate issues. First, the turbo went at 782 miles -- we were on highway doing 55 mph, when suddenly check engine light went on, speed dropped to 22 mph, throwing us into the seat belts. Then in November, it had its second turbo put in, supposedly because the first was leaking oil. Now, in Jan 2017 it is back in for a hugh oil leak in the front section. GM's bankruptcy appears to have impacted quality of its parts.Hey guys, I'm currently leasing a 2017 duramax colorado. I bought the vehicle on December 26th, put around 400 miles on the truck and then by the 11th of January it was already in the shop for what the dealership has told me a faulty wiring harness. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if it would only take a couple of days, but the part is apparently back ordered. They aren't aware on how long it will be for the part to come in and so now I'm stuck paying for a lease on a truck that I can't drive. I've been given a loaner but it's pretty basic. I'm really frustrated with the whole situation and I'm curious if anyone else has been experiencing problems.
I still have my clear plastic delivery shields on my screen and temp and fan knobs....YES, I did take the plastic off the seats.Any resolve to this yet? I've had my truck since just before Thanksgiving with no issues. I take that back, after I took delivery and driving my truck home, my touch screen wasn't working properly. It worked fine during my test drive. They replaced the unit, but I think that when they detailed the truck, whatever they spray on the dash to clean it and make it shiny they sprayed on the touchscreen. Thus building a barrier that didn't allow for the touchscreen to function. So, when I clean my truck, I make sure nothing gets sprayed on the touchscreen.
