I know it's a small thing, but every time it's dark out I wish I had some footwell lighting. I can't see the darned parking brake and if you aim a bit too high with your shoe or boot you end up hitting the OBDII connector. Any easy way to add some lights down yonder?

Don't want to hijack, but related. I am either not doing it right, or am missing 2 lighting utilities for my 2018. Is there an engine compartment light? I've looked, but can't find it if there is. And can i make my bed lamp light when I open my door? My '95 K2500 could do this. I've looked thru the book, but maybe I'm missing it. And yes, I should have aksed when I went to my Chev dealer a couple of days ago, for my trans fluid, transfer case fluid change. Slipped my older mind....

My '16 appears also to have no engine compartment light. Cost savings?
