Does anyone know a way to manually turn on the backup camera?
I tow a travel trailer (18-foot) and want to turn on the camera so I can check the hitch connection while driving. I once had a sway control bar come loose and it would have been great to check it while driving.

What year is your truck?

The one thing I can tell you is, you can't leave it on all the time, it's timed for 8 seconds.

If I remember correctly on the 17 you can't look at the camera as it was not an option. On the 18 and newer there is an icon on the infotainment center that will allow you to view the rear camera for 8 seconds and then it will revert back to where is was prior to pressing the icon.
