Anyone have problem with touch screen. Went black never came back on had steering wheel controls still work for switching only radio channels. Switch it out to aftermarket and now it’s gone black. Anyone have idea if possible it could be HMI cable. Fuse ect all good

Go through your DIC settings. Black screen might be a setting on your truck.

Umm ya kinda, so aftermarket touch screen black screen. Pulled it out to check fuse in the back of the screen pulled it out to check it, it was fine put it back in and my radio screen all came back on. So can’t really say what problem is. But it works

I had a dead spot the screen in my 2015 Sierra. I had purchased the coverage for electronics so a $1500 screen and labor cost me $100. Probably never get that lucky again but I have the same coverage on my 2016 Colorado Duramax.
