Blacked out headlights

I’ve baked a few sets of headlights, and I’ve been thinking of doing this. Subscribed.
What's the point. I rely on decent headlights and a solid steel bullbar to stop the damage resulting from running into all the roos and emus on the highways here in OZ.

What’s the point? If you’re not a modder then you won’t understand anyway, so just ignore us modder guys.
However, if I understood him correctly he was speaking about the “black head light mod, or BHLM” which is where you black out the trim INSIDE the headlight, rather than smoke out the headlight lens. This does not reduce your light output, just gives you a different look.
These are two of my old trucks that I did the black headlight mod to. Blacked out the chrome trim pieces and left the reflector alone. On the Tacoma I did smoke out the inside amber lens that covers the blinker.

On the Corolla I did the black headlight mod and also did a projector retrofit with e55 shroud which I left chrome to accent the projectors since nobody else with a Corolla had projectors. Of course now they are standard but back then it was unheard of
