[Canyons_Need_Love_Too]

First truck, also my first automatic transmission. Previous cars were a Saab 900, VW Golf, and an Audi A3. I almost went with the Tacoma because they offered it with a 6 cylinder and a manual transmission in the 2016 model year, but my love of Diesel engines won out.

I custom ordered a 2016 GMC Canyon All Terrain and I love it. I've taken her all over the place including off-roading in the Mohave desert. I'm wicked excited about using her to move all my stuff from California to New York in a year and change.

That's a Canyon All Terrain, it's the GMC version of the Z71 and has the same off-road "bits" with more available options. The Canyon All Terrain X is also available.

Yeah sorry the Z71 looks kinda cheap. It really doesn't compare to the inside and outside of the Canyon All Terrain X. They're really not even in the same league. I'll probably take some heat for saying this on a Colorado forum but IDGAF cause I'm not a Z71 fanboy.

If you have doubts in the future about passing on the Tacoma, google the sentence below and click on the tacoma world link. That's the truck I was interested in until I read about all the owners complaining about a high speed vibration and Toyotas apparent response that it's normal for that vehicle -- leaving owners without recourse.
