Just placed my order this morning, Canyon SLE 4wd with diesel , all terrain package in cyber grey metallic. Dealer here said it could be a 2 to 3 month build time if approved by GM. Very limited diesel allotment for Canada right now.
Welcome to the Forum.....I joined this group about 3 weeks ago and as you can see your the first Canadian to respond to my posting....lol....I am in Cambridge and placed my order way back in November. As of last week I still had not received a build date, manager at my dealer said that its been very difficult getting info from GM Canada. My fingers are crossed I hear something soon as I could run out of patience and because I commute to Toronto and operate heavy equipment the season is coming upon us quick! BTW I wanted to mention that the package you chose sounds identical to what I ordered. I added the tow package, Bose/Navigation upgrade amongst a few other smaller things. Hope to hear back...Glenn

Yes it sounds like serve ordered the same package except I did not do the nav package. Also did not order the all terrain adventure package but pretty much everything else. I'm in the Yukon so hoping my dealer gets a diesel allotment from GM. They seem fairly confident about it. Fingers crossed.
Well good news, my order was just verified yesterday by GM and I will be getting a build date within the next couple weeks. My dealer is estimating on the conservative side of 8 weeks before I actually have it. Could be as little as 6 weeks but doesn't he doesn't want to get that far ahead of himself. Mine was ordered in later November.

Update: Friday April 29, My sales lady text me to inform me it is on a railway car being shipped from Missouri, so hopefully we will have it arrive in Ingersoll Ontario with in a couple weeks. Fingers crossed I should be driving mine in two weeks of today. I'm interested in knowing if there are ANY CANADIANS who have taken possession of the diesel Canyon or Colorado yet? Will I be the first cause I work in Toronto and operate heavy equipment, around trucks every day and have yet to see one...

I was told by my dealer on Thursday that my canyon diesel was shipped and may be here next week. First one in the Yukon and quite possibly in BC and Alberta as I have not seen any at dealerships there yet.

My Canyon diesel arrived here today. Will get the PDI work done and I'll pick it up early next week. It's a beauty. Cyber gray metallic work the All terrain package. Photos next week. One of the first in western Canada.

That's excellent news, bet your as excited as me. I pick mine up today at 4 o'clock in Cambridge Ontario, ordered it in November with the All Terrain package. I was told by my dealerships GM, that including mine there are now 6 in total from the provinces of Ontario, Manitoba and Quebec. So if I see one I will be heading to buy a lottery ticket ...... Let me know your first impressions when you pick it up....Cheers
Had a quick look at it yesterday. Still dirty from the transport up the highway. Love the interior all terrain package finish. The carbon fibre accent look is terrific. The whole all terrain package look is great. I'll get a better look at it on Monday. Won't be taking it home for another week as I fly out for the long weekend on Thursday so just won't rush to get it home.
Put 200 km's on her yesterday, what a solid driving truck. The power delivery takes some getting used to after having driven gas equipped trucks most of my life. Extremely happy with this choice I made and after having ordered it 7 months ago I feel it was worth the wait...

Picked mine up from the dealership yesterday. Identical to yours Fast. I love it. Actually quite impressed with the power and driveabilitity of the rig. Love the all terrain package interior. Was surprised to find it came with the bed rack bars included.
I'm now looking for a hood deflector in a carbon fibre look for the Canyon. I've found them for the silver ado but none yet for the Canyon. If anyone knows where to find one for a canyon please post on here.
Well I have just filled her up for the first time out of my pocket. Right now I am averaging 9.9L/100km and still going down. I think it might level out around 9.5 after another week or so. Its been an absolute great truck to drive, one of the most planted feeling trucks I have owned. Ordered my Weathertech Matts and mud flaps, have it going in next Friday for tint and pick up the Extang Triflecta soft cover...Love it so far
Sounds good Fast. I'm waiting on a Retrax One tonneau cover and a bike rack to go on the bed rails. Hopefully here within 2 weeks. Love how this truck handles on the highway and around town. Such a solid feel too if as well.

Just picked mine up here on East Coast Canada yesterday, the Cyber Grey Metallic long box, dealer here had one sitting on the lot, not all the gadgets but most, so feeling pretty lucky , put a tonneau cover and a set of running boards on it . Put 150 kms on it today, last 80 indicator indicating 8.7 l/100 kms, taking it pretty easy on country roads. Definitely liking what I see so far. Bought for towing a small camper on a bit of a tour south and west this winter , will be interesting to see how it works out. Will try to keep good stats ...will put up a pic in a day or two
