I tow one of several different trailers occasionally with my 2019 Colorado. With one of the trailers, I get a message; text on the dash plus audible chime, warning me first that the trailer brakes are connected and next to check my trailer wiring. The lights and brakes all work. Fortunately for the safety of my passengers and me, the alarm goes off about every minute while I am driving . Any idea what is going on? Is this nagging a subtle hint from GM reminding me that Mother's day is coming up

Man thats more than likely the wiring on the trailer is not providing the right voltage usually due to a bad ground. just go through the connections on that trailer.
