If you're cross-shopping the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon, this is a useful article for those who don't know too much about what makes these two trucks the same/different.

Quote:

As anyone with a twin – especially a fraternal twin – will tell you, similar genetic material does not always create the same personality. That is true of these two trucks as well. Where the Chevy likes to shout, the GMC is a bit more quiet. When the bowtie likes to go bash rocks off-road, its brother might prefer to wheel down to the lake’s edge for an evening’s fishing. Both are capable in all the ways that matter to truck buyers but choose to express that capability in vastly different ways.

I am a gm fan for life. To me the fact that the GMC just looks more like a capable truck has been a selling point for years. The grille on the Chevy has been ridiculous since the early 90's. Give me a nice square manly looking grille and I'm sold. Sure they are mechanically identical but I don't want a truck to look sporty, I want it to look like it can get the job done.
