does anyone know what the difference is between the skid plates for a diesel vs a gas transmission?

Gas skids have clearance for the cross over exhaust pipe.
At least on the AEV skids.
Highly recommended by the way. That boron Steel is the ****!

so a gas skid should work on a diesel, right? But a diesel will not work on a gas. Would that be correct?

It should but I can’t guarantee.
All mounting points are the same.
I bought all AEV skids and made my own splash pan.
Likely could use ZR2 splash pan.
