Here is a warning and my story why no one should buy from XDP. First off let me say I am a car and truck enthusiast. I have a camaro ss and a c6 vette. Both modified with the regular gofast goodies. Both are Ls3s so both basically have same mods and whatnot and I am constantly buying more and more stuff while my wife asks when does it stop. Well we were the first people in Houston area to get a Colorado diesel in 2016. After having turbo cars and modding them I couldn’t wait for this truck to come out. To be honest now it’s my wife’s truck but she wanted to get a Mercedes suv at first and it took a lot to change her mind but She eventually did after a test drive. Well I finally got her into doing research and she decided her first mod was going to be a s&b intake. I decided I was gonna let her go through the process of ordering it so she could anticipate when it would come in the mail and whatnot, like I do for everything. Constantly checking the tracking number to see if it moved to another city or whatnot. Sorry I know that some might think that’s lame but I pretty much do it for every part I buy for each of my vehicles. She ordered the intake from XDP last week. She was so excited to get it put on. I normally install all my parts by myself mainly cause I work better alone. Pushrods, cams, headers etc., but I told her I would love to finally work on her truck with her basically letting her turn the wrenches. She has a mechanical engineering degree and is QA for tyco. So she isn’t helpless to say the least but she is unsure of herself for reasons unknown when it comes to vehicles. Well since last week everyday I she would call and each day she would get the response it’s getting shipped from manufacturer and it’ll ship tomorrow. Finally I call Wednesday explain we have heard this crap everyday and is it shipped yet? Finally since I got involved I found the intake cheaper at thoughbred diesel for cheaper. Talked to a guy named Greg who said he could ship it out the next day so I cancelled the order at XDP yesterday through customer service and was gonna order the intake this morning through the other more customer oriented company this morning. Couple hours ago she gets email and invoice that they finally shipped it with tracking number. Well now they just called her and told her to ship intake back as soon as it arrives. So even though it took over a week to ship it. We had cancelled the order and they still shipped it. They want to waste more of my time by having us ship something back to them that they should have never sent in the first place. Already cancelled order on credit card. I think I’m just gonna let them come pick it up. Don’t do business with these guys. Lied daily saying it was being shipped the next day several days in a row. And to make matters worse now she doesn’t want to do anything to truck at all. I had her looking at intercooler piping already. Sorry for the long post and rant. Just avoid them. Very unprofessional and I wouldn’t ever consider buying anything from them ever again. Even if they have better prices than anyone else. Which I doubt they ever would anyway.

I've ordered from them in the past and I have had no issues with them. I was planning on buying the S&B intake as well, but then money got funny and I had to cancel my order. I had ordered on a Saturday or Sunday, and on Monday morning, I called up and asked them to cancel it. They said the intakes ship from the Manufacturer, not their warehouse and it had not shipped from there yet, so it was no problem and they got the order canceled.

I have ordered from them before that as well, with an S&B turbo mouthpiece on my 2004 Duramax and it got here when they said it would. Also ordered an MBRP straight pipe and XDP downpipe for that same truck when I had it. Those came when they said they would as well. And also, I found that changing out downpipe on that truck was going to be a pain, so I called them up and asked if I could return the part as I didn't need it anymore. I believe there was a restocking fee but I was fine with that. Although, as I recall, they sent me a shipping label to return the item to them. That was free, but again I had to pay a restocking fee so those canceled each other out.

I have no problems with them. I have found them very professional in dealing with them so I have no complaints. Everyone makes mistakes, and the companies those people work for are no different. I intend to keep using them, although I am sorry for your displeasure with them.

Well I guess we just had extremely bad luck on a daily basis, when a different person would say it’s going to ship but never did. Day after day. Maybe it was just a horrible week for them or their customer service. I am just trying to warn folks is all. Glad to see they treated atleast one person right! Thanks for the reply.
