Hey everyone, just got my truck back from being at the dealer for more then 7 days. They were trying to find out why the check engine light was on. Turn out to be the DEF system. They replace the DEF injecter and DEF module. When I got the truck back I notice that I can hear a vibrating noise that start when barely let off the brakes in the engine compartment. That I didn't notice before. Im trying to locate the vibration noise. I saw this when I lifted up the hood the engine cover I think doesn't look right the noise damper. Does your engine cover noise damper look like this?

They all have them, but I took mine off because I like the diesel clatter. I don't have a rattle though, I would have to hear yours, but I think your sound may be coming from somewhere else in there
