Has anybody added the factory flares? I would really love to see before and after. I am referring to the low-profile flares. I believe they come on the trail boss.

Mine came as part of the package, Itold the dealer not to install them. I don't like the look.
Do you have them? I'd be interested. I'm asking because they gave me the front license plate holder maybe they gave you the flares too

I think they look tough. I think. Haven't decided
hmm not exactly knocking my socks off, but it looks ok. I wonder how noticeable they would be on the black truck?
That's what I wanna see! Lol
well I saw an older black Colorado today and the flares looked to be pretty much the same material. They were terribly faded as that style of plastic tends to do, it wasn't a pretty picture. I think for me it would need to be painted body color so it wouldn't fade and get the chalky look after a few years.
I installed OEM flares this morning, looks great and they are quality product

Hrm... kinda want. I know that's the same crap plastic GM uses on the Avalanche and every one will be a different color in six months though. :( Must resist!
I want the flares from the ZR2 they actually look to stick out a bit.

Those are the good looking part of the zr2
I bought and installed factory flare immediately after purchase. I believe they protect the fender lip from rock damage thereby slowing or stopping wheel well rust. Big problem here in Alberta. I also have mudflats and just cut flare to match top of mud flap.

Yes. Here are a few pictures of them installed.

The double stick tape can be a bit tricky...

NICE JOB!!, The mud flaps look factory and you did a fine job matching them to the flares. Might consider doing that to our ZR2. Looks much better than sticking mud flaps on the inside of the fender splash guard. I haven't checked to see if Bushwhacker makes something like a pocket flare like I had on my Jeep(s), but if they don't I'm sure some company will produce them for our trucks.

Here are my GM factory gloss black matching fender flares I installed. I love the look after adding 1.5" spacers on the factory wheels. Before and after. This is the same truck.
