I've noticed my floor vents aren't working at all. That is, when I cycle through the various A/C-heating options on the dash, I can hear the airflow changing, but nothing out of the floor vents.

It's also very stubborn about directing air out of the middle/passenger vents, and usually takes cycling through the vent options at least once to get the air flowing out of the right vents. I've noticed an occasional "binding" noise as well which makes me think the motor for the vent doors is failing.

Anyone else noticed something similar?

Thanks

Vent trouble checks: Look for a vacuum leak first. A leak causes such problems. And sometimes poor engine idling. Sticky exhaust and fuel intake valves will lower engine vac 30% or more. Of course, under dash door heat control motor is suspect. auto-tune-up-and-repair-options.com shows what additives can do to improve vacuum. Hope this helps....
