Fuel addItive
Taking delivery of new Canyon diesel next Friday, I am wondering what fuel additive if any do you guys recommend using?
I live in Upstate NY and need to treat to prevent gelling!
How about treating for added lubrication? Some say it is not needed while others say it is needed!
I run an 05 dodge Cummings and have been using power service in every tank since new.
I am mostly curious to find out if using fuel additives could negatively affect the engine or emission system?
It not an issue, I would imagine fuel additives to be a cheap insurance towards premature wear of fuel pump / injectors!
