fuel injector fuse blowing

We have a brand new (just over 400 km) diesel. We were just about to go up a steep road and it dies. It is the fuel injector fuse, smaller one 7.5. Replace, drive 5 minutes dies again. Put in a bigger fuse OK so far. We are 2 hours from the dealer in the bush so hoping we can make it without needing a tow. Anyone have any thoughts as to what would cause that fuse to blow (twice)?

That's what we figure. Hopefully we make the 160 k to the destination shop... we'll reply once we get a diagnosis.
