I just had the full delete tune done. With exhaust replace from down tube back.
2016 Colorado with 31,000 miles 4dr long bed

LA LA LAND. right now on board display is showing 34.1 mpg with traffic lights on the highway. feels like I got a larger gas motor in it as far as takeoff power from a standstill.

just a slight but noticeable hum from the exhaust now. I had a muffler installed

will let you know what a highway trip yields soon

Yea. I was all set on getting tunes from Motor Ops originally as we have had good luck with it on our 2008 LMM at work. However, like SNS said, after reading through people on the Facebook group who went with Motor Ops tunes having things that melted that should not melt....changed my mind and went with hACKman Customs tunes. May not be quite as powerful (however, they do have a new Reaper tune that is on the edge of what our truck can handle) with the normal tunes, they error on the safe side. Plus, hACKman Customs and SNS Performance partner together and have great customer service, even if it's helping someone who doesn't have their tunes. Above and beyond if you ask me.

I deleted and tuned my truck myself. I got the GDE offroad tune and just replaced the dpf with a piece of straight pipe. So far so good. I have a 6 inch lift and running 33 12.50's and I'm getting 27 mpg in town and 29 mpg on the highway.

I cannot do it for you no. But if you get ahold of Shield and Spear Performance (they will be changing their name to American Diesel Power by Aug. 1), they can definitively help you. I highly recommend them. Patrick Runge, owner, is a great guy, awesome customer service and they know what they are doing. He sells tunes from hACKman Customs. I gave 20k miles on my truck now since I deleted it (45k, now at 65k miles) and I have no issues or complaints. They can help you through it. It’s rather easy.

For the delete, you need a tune from them. They can walk you through it, it’s easy.

The actual deleting part though of the hardware isn’t terrible. You don’t have to be a mechanic to be able to do those, just mechanically inclined. I was able to do mine by myself. It would have went smoother with 2 people but it worked out. I removed the down pipe and the stock exhaust and replaced it with a straight pipe from the turbo, back.

I have not removed the EGR yet. It’s turned off with the tube, but still there. I intend to take it off one day but haven’t. I’ve heard it’s a pain to do and I can’t motivate myself to do that right now

I too live in Missouri, over near St. Louis, so I couldn’t take my truck to them to do. With help and advice, I did it myself. You could find a local shop to help you, that’s always an option.

SNS is now ADP. So, if you tried to contact SNS, they don’t exist anymore. They are supposedly working on their website the 9th of August thru the 11th but said they should still take emails. Might be a little slow because of that website work. If they don’t get back to you, try again Monday.

On the one hand, I really want to delete, on the other, my DuramaxTuner seems to be doing a fine job and I won't run afoul of eco police.
