If we can get 15 folks to express interest in a group buy on this forum, we would offer $100 off the purchase to that group. If interested, just reply in this thread.

We got blown out for offering refunds ($50) to customers for a facebook review of the tune. So we will not ask for any reviews, but do encourage feedback on the tuning. We like hearing about positive customer experiences and do not mind constructive criticism.

I have a question regarding the transmission tuning.

When I'm in traffic, I like to shift into "L" because it locks out the downshift into first gear when a higher gear is selected. It stays in second which is fine for traffic because it's a longer gear and you don't need 1st gear when creeping along at slow speeds.

Does the transmission tune change this feature?

We do not change that function in the trans tune. What is the "L" you are referring to? Our shifter has a manual mode "M", but no 'L'.

There were some changes on the 2017. A couple things that are different that I know of:

The “M” on the shifter was changed to “L”.

The canyon lost its unique Red backlighting on the gauges.

Probably more stuff too.

I tried the 2nd gear start in "L" mode it does indeed star off in 2nd gear as long as you have "2" selected, if you have a higher gear selected it will use 1st and up shift normally until the gear you have selected to limit it at.

I am quite surprised it actually works like that, very neat though.

Mine’s a little different. It will stay in 2nd as long as you have 2 or higher selected.

I usually just keep it in 4 when I’m in traffic, it just uses 2-4 which is good to 45 mph. It avoids all the excessive up and downshifting while in “D”.
