Hello all,

I read through the GDE forum and visited their website to look at their product. I am ready to do this upgrade but I am also looking at duramaxtuner. They are very comparable in their stats but duramaxtuner looks just a bit better plus offers the ability to do some "on the fly" switching between tunes.

My Colorado is stock in every way (except the floor mats) but I tow a small trailer (3000lbs) regularly to and from the in-laws and am looking to get more out of my truck during these long 2hr hauls.

Can anyone speak on either GDE or duramaxtuner and which they would recommend? Both look good but which is better if at all.

Thank you.

And now I have seen the HDdieselsupply.com and they look like they also are very comparable but they provide the exhaust for the delete which is difficult to find these days also.

So unless the WA laws are as strict as CA, it just depends on what you want. I'll DM you the details

Just word of caution, I got a duramax tuner from the Montana company For my 2500 duramax. They assured me if I saw no results I could just call them and they would arrange a return and refund. After the sale they never answered the phone and wouldn’t return my messages. so for me they are not a reputable business.

If you deal direct with DuramaxTuner.com, they come through just fine.

I had no trouble talking with them before my purchase. After the sale from their websit, I had a marathon cross country trip. On the trip I found no change In mileage, which was what they claimed this gizmo did. within the warranty time line I decided it didn’t work and I wanted my money back. Not one call was answered or any messages returned.
