Picking up my '18 Z71 crew cab short bed tomorrow morning.

I'm probably more excited about the truck than I should be, but I've been wanting a truck since we built a house 1.5 years ago. Lots of trips to home depot with borrowed trucks, borrowed trailers, etc.

Turning in my 2013 Fusion SE with the 1.6L ecoboost with nearly 88k miles. I'll probably end up missing the quick, precise handling on my 70 mile round trip daily commute but will get much more utility out of the Colorado without spending more on fuel than the truck every month.

Anyway, hello, everyone! Anyone else in Michigan?

Welcome. Just so long as you're not a fan of one of that blue and yellow college football team there :) Hope you like the truck!
Both my parents are MSU grads and I went to school in Ohio (not Ohio State)... is that acceptable? :)

I'm over 500 miles now and after refueling it seems to be stronger. Maybe higher quality or more fresh than what the dealer put in I guess? Or maybe it's just learning because it seems to hold higher gears more than it did right away... I'm able to accelerate uphill from 40 to 50 mph with this water tank in the back still in 5th gear I believe with the engine under 1500 rpm. It grunts (low rpm diesel clatter) but it seems perfectly happy to do it.
