Not that I'd ever trade in my Canyon but I was at a Chevy dealer last week and saw someone trade in a 2019 Colorado ZR2 with 35,000 miles for a new 2021 Blazer.
We got to talking and they had Employee pricing that week which dropped the price on the Blazer from the $50K Sticker to $40K, so he was okay with the lower Trade. I still think he could have gotten at least $5K - $7K more in a private sale. It was an SLT with leather and a short bed but had the roll bar with a nice aftermarket roof rack and light bar. Plus he had Baja Lights in the bumper, and two LED spotlights mounted on the hood at front window pillars. It was a nice black truck and they only gave him $25K trade in. WWYD?

They will put it on the lot for $30k+. Some people just don't care about losing money, they get all worked up about that shiny new vehicle and just go with it. I refuse to call that thing a Blazer. $50k for crossover Karen car? No thanks.

Oh, yeah, no question. You can't find any Colorado ZR2 Diesels right now in So Cal easily. That thing will probably be listed for $34999.

I have had two different dealerships call me out of the blue, offering to buy my truck. I think I’ll hang onto it/

Wow,,,i have a 2019 ZR2 with 15,000 miles. Oil change at 3000/3500 miles. My plan is to keep an i on the Silverado with the 3.0 diesel. Hopefully I’ll get a good price for my ZR2 when I get ready to pull the pin.
