Hello everyone! As the title says, I was a order holder for a 2021 Bronco Wildtrak fully loaded but I'm sure you all have heard about the whole slew of quality issues and recalls by now so here we are....
I ordered a 2022 Colorado ZR2 with the 2.8l Duramax and it's set to go into production on October 18th. I'm upgrading from my college car due to recent reliability concerns (2003 Jetta TDI with 359,000 miles on it). I'm getting closer to needing to haul a trailer around with my rental real estate maintenance equipment on it so I'm glad I went with the truck over the bronco.
Background on me... I'm a mechanical engineer currently working for GE Gas Power supporting the turbine blade manufacturing process in Greenville, SC. My property can be considered a used car lot by how many cars I have... 2003 Jetta TDI, 1966 Mustang (351W), 1977 Monte Carlo (400sbc), 1982 Honda V45 Magna, 1977 Ford F100 (5.9l Cummins).
I look forward to learning from everyone here and hearing about all the tips and tricks for this truck!
