Hey guys i searched but didn't find any pics of a Colorado with these specs. if there are any guys in here running a 3" front(spacer) 1.5" back(Block) swap bar spacer lift/level kit on your Diesel non zr2 with tire specs of 265/75/17 or 265/65.17 preferably Duratrac tires just few questions? Diff drop was it required or just for peace of mind / added insurance?
could you upload some pics? I also have the gm fender flares, could i fit this setup with the flares. i saw some pics but none of them had the flares. curious how the ride is? is it true diesel sits higher than the gas model so will it actually be more than 3" or will it still be a 3" lift? Did this size throw off the speedo? i know gas mileage may go down about how much?

Ready Lift posted my truck to IG, after the install was done at Local Shop BFG 275/70 17. No issues, no cutting or rubbing.

It’s a bigger tire diameter than stock, roughly 1”-2”. Just run a tire size calculator online to see the % diff in speedo. I just went up to 32” tire size, so my speedo under-measures by about 6.6% (which also misleads me on fuel economy by a larger factor than speed).

OK so I decided to pull the trigger, ill get some pics on floor soon but I have the auto springs 2.5 front/ diff / sway bar drop and the Add a leaf. ill be running 285/70/17's test fitting with stock wheels. hopefully wont have to do TOO much cutting.

This brings me to Amy next question , if my speedo is off who do I goto get it corrected?

Not getting this at all. You stress your drive train and compromise handling, all for (admit it) looks.
Don't do it then. While you are not doing it, ask GM why they do it.

Tires are Falken Wildpeak LT 275/70R18, I do have a bit of rubbing if hitting a bump wile turning, I will probably go a bit smaller next time, and not an LT tire, just to reduce some tire weight.
The spacer is 1 1/4 inch, I think I got the spacer on EBay, this setup is 4 years old now.

Has anybody tried these:

2" leveling strut replacement. I like that I can easily do it myself (except the alignment) but a little concerned that it's the same set whether it's gas or diesel. Their chat dude said the engineers said it's OK because the weight difference isn't enough to matter.

Sorry for the late reading. I missed this.

So, does GM/Chev offer taller tires? All I see for either Canyon or Colorado are the 17" 265/65R17's that came stock with my 2018 Z71. But maybe I'm overlooking them. Since this seems to be your assertion, I ask you to document this. If you can't, I'll stick with my observation that it's funny how folks run tall tires and then whine about their trannie problems.

Now I DO know that they now offer a 1" lift. In late 2017 this was not offered. So, I plan on replacing my front struts with Bilsteins, and set them up with their 1" lift option. And new Bilsteins on the back and real aftermarket skid plates, all at the same time. Oh, and new Goodyear Duratrac 265/65R17's, just like those that came from the factory and that have given us over 47K, almost half pulling a heavy trailer.

Don't forget, show me those bigger GM offered tires on Canyon's/Colorado's, offered from the factory....
