Purchased a Cajun Red 2018 Z71 about three weeks ago. Looks a lot like the truck in the site banner. Diesel, 4WD, Trailer package. Extremely happy with it. It replaces my red 2012 Toyota FJ Trail Teams Edition (a vehicle I really, really liked). I am really happy with the trailering capability (will likely get a slightly larger trailer) and especially the mileage. Drove over 500 miles on my first tank of gas. The FJ could not go 300 miles on a tank (smaller 15 gal. tank and much poorer mileage). FJ was limited to 5k of towing and it struggled with our RPod trailer on steep climbs. Added a BedRug and a Bak Flip cover. Will probably add side rails and some rock sliders and call it a day.
The Colorado checked all the boxes--Go "almost" anywhere, tow a bit more and save money on fuel.
Lots of firsts for us--first pickup, first automatic transmission EVER and first GM product since I drove a Chevy Vega in high school.

bought mine for several of the same reasons. great (not so ) little truck, just drove I75 thru Tennessee during the latest winter storm, just ahead of the plows, truck handled great . but still trying to convince my wife to stay with our current travel trailer.
