Well Gen-2 kids, I've ordered a 23 Sierra Denali 3.0 LZ0 (a week ago). Who knows what the delivery time will be but when it comes in I will sadly be trading my Collie in for it. I really love this truck but I want some more interior elbow room when traveling and it will give me another 400 lbs of carry capacity. Not to mention, the 2023 LZ0 with 305 HP and 495 lbs ft of torque would be welcome too. :)

If any one is interested I have amongst other things:
Brand new, in sealed packages, NOX sensor 1 and 2 and a particulate sensor that I carried when traveling.
A brand new script (not the cheep Chinese one) gen2 grill I never installed. Was waiting for the other one to get beat up before installing.
Full AFE 3" stainless turbo back exhaust with Black Tip .......EDIT: chrome tip
If someone really wanted it, a used Titan 36 gallon fuel tank (I would have to remove it but if the price is right I will). Long bed owners only.
A brand new set of ProFab intercooler pipes (hot and cold side)
And probably some other stuff I've forgotten about...lol

EDIT: gen2 Helms usb service manual.

Shipping and packaging would be actual cost.
PM me if interested I can take pictures and so on.

I don't like the tricks they use to get more power and reduce weight, but I like the warranty. The Colorado is skinny enough for the missus to drive on city streets, so that means lots to us.

I agree on the size Bob. I really like the size of this truck and after towing a RV few a bunch of years and wearing that gig out I will probably be back.

SFL, don't be a stranger. I have also enjoyed your post. After all you will still be family. I am only going on 2-years with my Baby MAC. As some of you know I pull a 25ft camper. My wife and I love camping. In the coming years, if we do decide to go with a larger camper the 3.0 would be my 1st option. I also have a buddy that up graded to the 3.0. Although he likes his 3.0 he still defends the Baby MAC.
Keep us posted SFL!

Congratulations on a no VIN and no shipping timeline new vehicle.
🤣🤣🤣

Makes you think do they really have the vehicle built? When I ordered my Chevy Cruze Diesel in 2018 they assigned a VIN when it was on the assembly line being built. Then they had a projected delivery date once it was in the parking lot awaiting transport. What happened to customer service in the last four years? 🙄

Well I got this today

So now we'll see how it progresses from here.
I think GM can do better. We ordered our 2018 Colorado Z71. I live near Wentzville and tried in vain to let me visit and see it go down the line. No co-operation. When we ordered our 2005 Volvo XC90, they had a deal to help with your European vacation costs, which included a plant visit to watch your Volvo get built. We didn't take them up on it, but should have....

I agree, customer service is down the per-verbal crapper. You would think prior to a windshield (plus the other locations the VIN gets attached) being put in place the VIN tag on the dash would already be installed. Maybe not what the heck do I know.

That's a pretty cool offer.

I would have looked a Ford if they offered a smaller diesel. I just have no need for a 6+ liter motor and I wanted some fuel mileage in the area of the 2.8.

There was no practical reason that they couldn't have girded up the 4 door for more trailer towing capacity, and adapted a diesel available in Europe. That vehicle could have done everything the Colorado does. As for durability, look at the most popular carryall truck for small US contractors. Ranger, by a mile.

I understand that Ranger is very capable, but as my son says the front looks like a fish. My Ford friends believe the car like appearance is by design as tougher looking exterior would cut into F-150 sales.
