Quick review

After much deliberation I chose these nfab steps. I liked them because they fit close to the body instead of hanging down. I am glad I chose these steps over others on the market. 4.5 out of 5 stars

A Few good things to note about them are the packaging, they were packed very carefully to protect the finish. The brackets lined up 100% to the holes on the body (rare with bolt on parts) and all hardware was included. The brackets are much beefier than I anticipated, which is a good thing. The steps fit very close to the body without the main tube touching the body. I can't fit my finger in the gap between the tube and the body. The gap is consistent side to side and front to rear. Textured finish is thin, but should help to hide or camouflage any scratches and dings that show up and will be much easier to touch up, if needed.

Some reviews said that the steps are in the wrong place, I disagree. The steps are in exactly the right spot. I'm not sure how that reviewer goes about ingress/egress, but my feet go in the footwell and not in the seats. Yes looking at the pics you'll see the steps do not line up with the doors. You want the steps next to the foot well, not next to the seat.

Small things to note which may or may not be a problem are some rough edges on the driver rear step (could snag a pant leg, all other steps are smoothly finished) and the front of the main tube is open (which may cause some wind noise/whistle) one of my tubes had a few scratches in the finish but I imagine they'll have quite a few more very soon anyway.

Haha, no mercy on shins. I ended up getting ICI Magnum RT Step Bars, and they are awesome but shins don't stand a chance. :)
