I am looking to disable the tracking of my vehicle by on-star. I see no reason that they should get this data as well as all the other OBD data from my vehicle without my permission. Today after 12 years with on-star they committed another bone head stunt and I canceled them. Now I wish to disconnect. Can someone tell me the location of the on-star module in the 2017 GMC Canyon. My understanding is that it is no longer proper to disconnect the fuse as other systems (blowers and heater) will not work.
