Dealership diagnosed code and said DEF injector bad and O2 sensor need replacing and was ordered. After i hung up i thought "I did not ask when they would arrive or if they were backordered". Well it has been over a week and no contact from dealership. My question is," are these items readily available or possibly a hard to get item"?

Emission parts in general are currently hard to come by.

I checked with local parts store yesterday and they have parts in stock!!

If your out of warranty then get the parts yourself. Are you going to install them yourself or work a deal with the dealership? Good luck

Well dealership call said my truck was fixed. I will pick up in the AM. I asked what the problem was? Service manager said catalytic converter and def injector. This truck only has 50,000 miles am i going to have this problem every 50k? Like i said i love the little truck but i have some serious concerns?
