I have the chrome bars side steps. Bought truck end of dec. Thinking may prefer black bar style step. Anyone interested in trade. I live in southern ontario.

Have you given any thought to powder coating them?

Powder Coating is fairly cheap also... I do my own powder coating. (mostly small items do to size of oven)
I can get a pound of powder for about $10 and it would do several Nerf Bars, or sets of wheels even.
Not to mention its a heck of a lot more durable then paint.

Some say you can't powder over chrome though (so you or they would have to sand blast it)
I have powdered over chrome many of times without any issues. (as of yet)

Just not a fan of the style. I step out over them so there just in my way. The black bar type dont stick out as far. Plus eventually Im going all black. Could powder coat but these particular ones still stick out to far. Some love em I hate em.
