Just returned from a 4800 mi trip towing a 2018 Winnebago 23 ' trailer, with my 2016 Colorado, 3600 mi. towing the trailer averaged 16.5 mpg and a total of 20.5 for the entire 4800 mi.Only had 1 scary moment out in the middle of Nevada, at the very crest of a 6500' pass with the cruise set at 65 it acted like it stalled for just a few seconds, then it was fine, maybe bad fuel? Very pleased!!

Sounds like a great trip I think these trucks are very impressive tow an 18 foot fishing boat and most of the time forget it’s there , it will tow up most hills in six gear no problem

Congrats on your trip completion. Any idea what your GCVW was? Gettin' up there I'll bet, especially at 16.5 m/g. How did your jake brakes work for you?

4400 GCVW, jake brake works great.

4400 for the trailer you mean? GCVW would be truck & trailer combined...
