I Installed my S&B Air system also ProFab cold air boost pipes Saturday. Today driving into work the engine light came on and it went into limp mode on the e-way.
I pulled over and checked all the elec connections also checking the hose clamps for tightness. All OK. I pulled the neg off the battery to reset everything.
As long as I didn't go full throttle I made it to work. I won't be able to check the codes till Wednesday.
The weird thing is my MPG went from 32 on the highway down to 16 MPG.
Almost sounds like my Mass Air Flow sensor went bad, changing it from my stock air intake to my S & B one.
Anyone else have any problems changing there Air system ?

Thanks to Tim Krueger (S&B Filters)

Sent me this information.
The battery needs to be disconnected for a minimum of 2 hours. That will reset the computer and put it in learning mode to re-learn the new intake. This is pretty common, we get a few calls a day, I'm confident it will resolve the issue for you.
