Selling my Spade Tuner. It comes with stock tune and mod tune. The tune really adds off the line power (no lag) and great at speed passing ability. Comes with eng and trans tunes. Tunes are from Duramax.com

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't these units and the tune file get locked to a vin to prevent people from using one unit to tune multiple trucks? Mine is locked just to my truck...

@Dingleballs You are correct, the tunes he has are vin locked and no good to anyone's truck but his own.

OP you're asking full retail price for an autocal that will also need a new vin license before anyone could use it. Those tunes are only good for your truck...

To add on to the above, the last 6 digits in the tune filenames are the last 6 digits of your VIN. Nobody else will be able to use your tunes, so you basically have a Spade/AutoCal that will require someone to buy a VIN license as well as a tune for their truck.

@ElmoreColorado Seems like you were unaware the unit is locked to your truck. I knew but I giving you the benefit of the doubt when I first posted. You should delete this for sale post so it doesn't seem like you're trying to scam someone.
Plus you should keep it because at some point you may need to update your tune or go back to stock.

I had contacted DuramaxTuner some time ago regarding this issue.. you can contact Duramax tuners and purchase a new license to be able to use this spade in a different vehicle...

I sold one a few months ago and as far as I know the buyer was able to utilize it...

Yes and new license will allow the autocal to be used in a new truck, the tunes that are currently on his autocal are vin locked to his ecm/tcm. Even if you purchase a new vin license you will also need new tunes.
