Today while at the Joshua Tree National Park, saw for the first time EVER in the wild, a Desert Tortoise. He was big, size of a basket ball or bigger, and not afraid of us at all. I got out to check him out, and guided him up a little burm to get him where he would not wander out onto the road. You NEVER pick them up, supposedly they will "release" all their stored water, and if they cannot find water soon, could die.

Alligator lizard tail.....?

I have three Mexican Alligator Lizards....neon Green.......

I think it was a big gopher snake. That’s just a small portion of the tail.
