hello All,
I have a 2016 Colorado with 2.8 Duramax and 43k on the clock.
recently took an almost 3k mile trip from ohio to fla and back thru south Carolina, truck performed well
towing a 3500 lbs camper in at times over 100 degree heat. unfortunately about 150 miles from home the truck threw a check engine light. when I attempted to connect my scan tool or my pc with diagnostic program to the obd port I can only get a linking error message. ive checked connections, fuses, and areas where the wiring harness may be chaffing, but still unable to link.
any ideas or thoughts would be helpful,
thanks

would also like to note , truck is running fine, performance is at or very near normal, and truck is all stock with no tunes or modifications other than a transmission cooler and transmission dipstick for towing.
