I had a 2016 Red Z71 Colorado diesel and put about 25,000 miles on it before ordering a 2018 Kinetic Blue ZR2 Colorado diesel. I've had the ZR2 since the end of December, and love the truck. Still breaking in the engine, only at about 5,000 miles yet, so the mileage isn't on par with my 2016 yet. I averaged over 29mpg with my Z71 over the entire 25,000 miles. Currently getting between 25/26 on the ZR2.

I put the Halo low beam LED bulbs in so far, will also do some LED high beams in soon. Also planning on eventually doing the GDE tune.

That's the avg. you can expect without a tune. I avg. 27mpg out of ours. I have 14,000 miles on it now and it's all "broke-in" with no oil burnt/leaked between checks or oil changes. Good Luck! Mac

 

[2018 ZR2]

My ZR2 just happens to be in Kinetic Blue also. Just over 3000 miles now. Around 24MPG combined currently. Purchased in mid February. Love the Diesel also.Great platform from GM. IMHO best in class. Nothing comes close.
