does anyone know exactly what changes when enabling offload mode on the ZR2 with the 2.8 Duramax?

It mentions about the traction control button. It says simply pressing it isn't enough. I feel like this would work with our trucks too. When it was snowy out, I was running around in 2WD just for the heck of it. I pressed the button to turn TC Off and it gave me the light saying it was. I took off and tried drifting around a corner, and it did, but I could feel it hesitating and there was another light that popped up beside the TC off light, showing a vehicle with squiggly wheel marks behind it, signifying that I had lost traction. I wonder, if holding the TC Off button for 10 seconds would totally disable TC for a regular Colorado/ Canyon?
Yea it’s not ten seconds more like 5

Edit: you gotta be stopped to do it
