I am going to have a sunroof installed on my new 2016 Colorado. After that I am considering roof rails to accommodate a Yakima canoe rack. I would rather not have to have the large ladder rack installed. Does anyone know if the roof can accommodate a sunroof and roof rails?

also, check your options before just putting the cheapest sunroof in. if the body lines on the hood don't match perfectly, you may have a leak or whistle. since the drains aren't built in from factory, it may be tricky and cause a leak. I wouldn't put one in mine, but if you are going to put one in, make sure its done right. ive seen a lot of disasters with them
